too hot to think, on the softball team
or just too young to feel bad
for cheering such awful things
what if time changes what i mean?
well i meant it, for 21 years
who’s to think i can’t mean it again
whenever you need?
staring at screens
and pinching at the body parts i’d change
cause the first pill
makes you feel like everybody’s here
and the second
makes them all go away
maybe i’ll just cut my bangs
and i know i’m always joking around
and i talk to a lot of pronouns
but it's not just because
we all know names are cheesy
i just don’t have one that
i’m any good at, repeating
so maybe i’ll evaporate
maybe we’ll both evaporate
because i’d have a lot more time
if our faces
were just great lakes
they could rain back in line
i’d have a lot more mind left
you could move away and still be on it
